Common questions

How much fuel should be in the tank?

Keep it low, around a quarter of a tank or less. It needs enough to be driven on and off the ship and around the terminal.

Can I leave things in the boot or caravan?

Not unless we've agreed it first. Shipping lines restrict loose items in RoRo cargo, and anything inside is inspected by MPI.

Do I need to cancel my Australian registration before shipping?

No. Keep it registered until it's collected, as it's driven or carried to the port. Once it sails you can cancel it and claim any refund from your state registry.

What if my vehicle doesn't run?

Tell us when you book. Non-runners can usually be shipped, but they need to be quoted and loaded differently.
